Annealed Glass
Annealed Glass is also known as Clear or Float glass. The glass-cooling treatment carried out in a fabricator’s glass facility is most commonly referred to as an “anneal.” In contrast to tempered glass , it is not heated. Glass that has been annealed can be processed further to produce toughened, laminated, or tempered glass, among other types.
