A toughening process is used for Bent & Curved Glasses in two separate horizontal tempering furnaces, producing curved glass panels with a wide range of glass types in a tight radius. Because we have both furnaces, we can offer curved glass solutions for a variety of architectural, commercial, and residential installations.
In terms of both design and intended use, toughened glass varies from laminated glass. Two panes of regular glass are commonly used to make laminated glass and they are linked together with an interlayer to maximise strength and longevity. As a result, even if the glass panel cracks, it remains intact.
One of the most significant benefits of adopting laminated glass is its safety feature. To fulfill your unique needs, Dastoor Glass Toughening can offer solutions using laminated and toughened glass.
What we can offer ?
- Our Bent toughened glasses are produced using a cutting-edge cylindrical bending technique that is managed by a millimetre-precise interconnected gear system.
- They are far more visually appealing than straight glasses.
- Our method guarantees an equal radius throughout the glass’s width.
- Our powerful top-and-bottom convection heating system, which can handle even the most cutting-edge coatings on the market, controls the heating process.
- They offer exceptional design and form versatility because they can also be laminated and insulated.
